Medieval Bishop’s Palace Site Located
Wednesday, April 5th, 2006The site of what once was a lavish Bishop’s palace has been discovered in Scotland, it was the ‘country’ residence of the Archbishop of Glasgow.
The palace, near to Bishop Loch, was built around the 13th Century but destroyed three centuries later during the reformation.
